Kundalini Yoga

Kundalini Yoga is a profoundly multi-faceted and extremely powerful instrument of self-development. It embraces all 8 Limbs of Patanjali's Eightfold Path, and when practised in the proper proportions it's a beautifully balanced route to vibrant health and enlightenment, containing checks and balances for the safe unfolding of kundalini.

Classes usually consist of warm-ups, Kriyas (sets with different combinations of asana, dynamic movement, mantra, mudra and pranayama) integration and meditation. There are over 86,000 different Kriyas for different purposes and situations, from combatting depression to developing a healthy immune system, increasing digestive efficiency to opening the heart, channeling anger & sexuality to becoming more psychically sensitive.

I offer a small weekly class on Wednesday evenings, 7.30-9 at my home in North Dalton, between Driffield and Pocklington. Space is very limited, so advance booking is essential. There's always time afterwards for a chat & cuppa and maybe something yummy...

I also run occasional workshops which combine yoga with activities such as cooking/nutrition, crafts, gardening, group healing and gong baths. These are posted on the events page as and when they are arranged.

£7 per session or £30 for a block of 5 sessions.
